I had the opportunity to talk with Joe Schueller of P&G several times in the past weeks, and I found the experience extremely rewarding.
We talked about the Econolypse, and it’s impact of businesses like P&G. JOe makes some great points:

Neat discussion. Interesting to see a 138,000 employee company with 170 year history leading the charge. Virtual water cooler analogy resonates with me. Very different perspective than my company, where we have functional verticals, and need horizontal collaboration across products. But the uses of social networking tools is the same.
Stowe, you were right, worth every minute. Great interview Stowe and Joe. I particularly liked the comment Joe made about doing more with less. A theme I’ve been writing about lately too. The value of being more open and transparent to enable efficiencies across their large organization. Thanks!
